something random

for anyone who may be reading this.... do you all listen to Jurassic 5? I just have to say that Charlie Tuna Fish has a damn sexy voice. On the September Sessions CD (which is actually a Jack Johnson compilation, for his surfing movie), Ozomotli and tuna fish make a fabulous concotion with strings that take you to a beach in Mexico lounging with a Margarita while the warm breeze sweeps over you, swanky brass to make you shake your ass, deep voice chocolate goodness, and sultry backup lyrics that slide in and out. Love it.

I haven't listened to Jurrasic 5 in about.......
400 hundred years at least.

I want. Add it to my list of copies. :D

ohhh, yes I will, you must have it. I ordered a new cd (to me anyway, sometimes I'm behind a bit), a sublime tribute. I hope it is good, I think it will be. Lots of great people: Jack Johnson, Fishbone, No Doubt, Spearhead (whom I am currently obsessed with) with Gift of Gab from Blackalicious, G Love, Ozomotli, Los Lobos, Pennywise, and some more that I don't know off hand. If only it could just come today! I'm in the phase where I look at all my music and I see it and it is a lot but none of it is speaking to me.

Hi Melissa!!

So good to hear from you! How are you? I'm in SLC going to the U. I was gone this summer to Grand Teton again, in Wyoming, doing the park ranger thing. It was very fabulous but now I am back to the same old, same old life of school and other misc. things to fill in the time. I also work on campus in about one of the most monotonous, brain dead jobs ever. I'm an office assistant and it's great because I can come and go whenever I want but once here, it's hard to stay.

I feel like I'm plodding through school at about the slowest pace ever but at least I'm at the U now and that is nice. I know this is forever ago but it was great to see you before Christmas, I may be down there again soon. How are your kids? And when are you coming up our way again?

I'm searching my brain for any exciting news. My dad is getting married tomorrow, that is nice. I'm still dating Matt Ligman, and that is also nice.

Hey, I was reading your past entries and I saw the ones about Jade. How is she? That is really sad.

So currently I'm going to school for parks, recreation, and tourism but I don't know what I want to do. You know what I am thinking most seriously about?? Opening a cafe or something of that sort someday. Or maybe a bed and breakfast. I think that would be so fun. I still love cooking and entertaining so why not just keep doing it, but get paid?

anyway, that's me as of late, pretty much the same as ever, come home soon so we can all visit!
